FLOAT CUSHION WITH SOLAR WARNING LAMP 

The Inca marker buoy with solar lamp is a common requirement
for delineation of marine protected areas at various coastal communities of Local Government units. Mooring buoys are also a popular at tourist dive sites as these buoys provide convenience to boats and divers in
offshore dive sites and remote islands or coral reef locations.

 

Scientific applications also include the installation of large meteorological buoys at remote offshore areas to serve as warning portals to report developing or incoming typhoons. These Buoys are equipped with a solar warning lamp and various electronic instruments that sends signals to monitor the weather. 

 

One of the effective tools in the conservation of fish stocks is the establishment and maintenance of FISH SANCTUARIES. In some cases, restoration and preservation of Aquatic habitat and fish biodiversity becomes a management tool to increase natural fish production. However, the location and identification of Fish Sanctuary areas are equally important to the enforcement and sustainability to cause in the positive impact on the socio economic condition of the fishing community. To clearly delineate Fish Sanctuaries (FS) or Marine Protected Areas (MPA), INCA has developed plastic Marker Buoys with a solar lamp. These innovative buoys are highly visible and allows identification of boundaries of marine areas where fish can feed and breed without any disturbance. Moreover at night time, the solar lamp, illuminated and seen as far as 3-kilometers, serve as a navigational aid to warn boats or fishermen that they are close by or encroaching within a protected area. Made from virgin, food grade rotationally molded polyethylene (P.E.) plastic, the buoy is U.V. stabilized for maximum protection against tropical weather conditions and comes with a sturdy mooring system built to last for many years. The solar lamp is encased in poly-carbonate with option for flashing or stationary light. It complies with IP67 international waterproof ratings.
